In Honor of Dr. Romeo So Leng

We invite you to join the So Leng family for a morning of reflection, merit-making, and community as we celebrate the completion of Romeo’s PhD in Business Administration. This dual ceremony honors both our ancestral roots and this significant academic milestone.

The Buddha & Monk Blessing Ceremony | 9:30 AM

• Pithi Thve Bun (Merit Making): We begin with the traditional offering of alms and gourmet Cambodian dishes to the Sangha (monks).

• Chanting & Protection: Sacred Pali prayers will be offered to invoke blessings of wisdom, health, and success for the new Doctor.

• Water Blessing: A purification ritual to wash away past obstacles and welcome a prosperous new chapter.

The Meet & Greet Luncheon | 11:00 AM

• Communal Feast: Following the monks’ blessing, please join us for a sit-down family-style luncheon featuring traditional Khmer favorites.

• Tribute to Heritage: A brief opening remark and presentation dedicated to the parents and ancestors whose sacrifices made this journey possible.

• Fellowship: An opportunity to personally congratulate the graduate and view a display of his doctoral research.
